Where is the data stored?: In the local storage of your physical device (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
Is the data synced across your devices?: No, the data is only stored on the device where it is created.
How can you share the data with others?: Via email. You can save each other's email addresses in the Settings of the app, and then every time you save a new transaction, you will be able to send an email with a link that will import that transaction into the app on the other device.

My iCloud Drive
Where is the data stored?: In your personal iCloud Drive account
Is the data synced across your devices?: Yes, any device that is using the same iCloud account and has this storage option selected in the app will see the same data.
How can you share the data with others?: Via email. You can save each other's email addresses in the Settings of the app, and then every time you save a new transaction, you will be able to send an email with a link that will import that transaction into the app on the other device.

Shared Storage
Where is the data stored?: In a secure cloud storage location
Is the data synced across your devices?: Yes, any device that has this storage option selected in the app and uses the same Apple Account to sign in will see the same data.
How can you share the data with others?: Via invitation. You can send an email invitation for other users to access the same data in a shared location. And if enabled in the Settings of the app, each user will receive a notification when another user saves a new transaction.
Subscription required?: Yes, either an annual or monthly subscription is required. See Terms of Use.
Login required?: Yes, you must Sign in with Apple to create a user account for accessing the data.
